Summer Rides and June Brides

This Friday Scott and I took our 12 year old nephew Matthew on a bike ride on the Bonneville Shoreline Trail in Provo and had a blast. He just got a new bike so we wanted to take him on a fun trail. He did FANTASTIC on such a steep and technical trail even during the hottest part of the day. What a trooper! Scott and I were both impressed with how great he did and cant wait to take him along again. On the way home we just HAD to stop and get snow cones (per my request of course) and it was a great end to a HOT HOT ride. Thanks for coming along Matthew!

Saturday was Cecilie's (cousin) beautiful wedding day. She asked me to do her hair for her special day and it was so fun to share the excitement and anticipation while doing her hair before she headed off to the temple. All the excitement brings back all the sweet feelings we had on our wedding day. I tell Scott all the time the how we should do our wedding day all over again because it was so fun! Cecilie looked absolutely beautiful and we had a great evening spending it with Scott's extended family at the reception. Congratulations Cecilie and Scott Lee!

We continued the family fun Sunday night with a HUGE BBQ at the Hanks. They have such a fun family and its always a blast to get together with everyone. All in all it was a busy but fun filled weekend!
