Polar Express and a fun filled weekend

For Christmas, My mom and dad got us all tickets to the Polar Express (Heber Creeper). Scott and I had never been on a real train so it was quite exciting. All the kids wore their PJ's and we went for a great ride on the decorated train. We sang Christmas carols, told jokes, drank hot chocolate, ate a cookie and Santa and Mrs. Clause came to visit us. They gave out bells to the children just like the book and of course my Mom went above and beyond and gave all of us even better bells to remember the night. Thanks Mom and Dad for such a cute and fun ride on the Polar Express. And, of course thanks to Nate for the wonderful solo you sang. The the train was roaring with laughter =)

This weekend we also celebrated my cute Moms birthday. Scott and I went out for a date Friday night and then my Mom and sisters got together later to have a girls night in. (We missed you Kathie, Kristen and Heather) It was so fun to hang out, talk and eat yummy treats. We have the best Mom and we all are thankful for all she does. Happy Birthday Mom.
Saturday We had "Breakfast with Santa" with the hanks family. We go to Thanksgiving point, get photos with Santa, eat breakfast and the kids do fun Christmas crafts. It has been a Hanks tradition since Scott was little and we will continue to go.

It was great weekend full of fun activities. After the breakfast Scott and I washed the car, and then picked up a TV and and X box from my awesome cousin David Merrill who was giving away some things and was so nice to share with us. We didn't even know about the X box but he brought it to see if we wanted it. Thanks David! Scott and I had a fun day getting things set up and playing a few games. It was so fun to have a Saturday to do some fun relaxing things. We enjoyed a $5 pizza and spent the night together. I just love being with Scott! What a fun and BUSY time of year. Coming soon....SKIING!!!
