Giving Thanks

This is a wonderful time of year to reflect upon the things we are grateful for, and by doing so, I believe we recognise extra blessing in our lives. I would like to share some of the many things I feel so blessed with in my life.

I'm so grateful for my dear husband, sweetheart and best friend. He is the love and joy of my life. I'm grateful that we met that evening just a short 4 years ago and that we have been together ever since. He is so kind, loving, thoughtful, smart, funny, supportive and a completely wonderful man! I'm grateful he honors the Priesthood he holds and for the blessing that brings to our marriage. I married my best friend and I love him so much. I love that he can always make me laugh and we have sooo much fun together! Its been a wonderful year and a half of marriage so far and I am so lucky I get to spend forever with him.

I'm grateful for wonderful parents who have always loved and supported me. I appreciate that they are such good examples and I know that a lot of who I am today is thanks to them. I'm grateful they taught me correct principles and I could not have asked for better parents! I just love them.

Grateful for my sweet brothers and sisters. Each and everyone of them are truly amazing. I love and treasure their examples to me growing up and now there examples to us in raising their families. I appreciate all of the love and support they offer Scott and I and the time we get to spend with them.

Grateful for Scott's wonderful parents and family. I know Scott was raised in a wonderful home with great examples and strong gospel principles. I'm grateful that they are so kind and loving to Scott and I and our life together. They are so kind and generous to us. They have been so excepting to me joining there sweet family. I love them dearly.

Grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that the I belong to the true church that was and is founded upon the teaching of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I'm grateful that he lived and gave the ultimate gift of the atonement so that we may return to live with Him and our Heavenly Father. I'm grateful to have Prophets still upon the earth to lead and guide us in these latter days and for the blessings of the Priesthood. Also, the blessings of tithing.

Grateful that Scott and I were sealed for time and all eternity in the Holy Temple. I'm so grateful our family can be together forever. That is such a wonderful gift I would not trade for anything.

Grateful for music. I feel so blessed again to have a Cello. I grew up with music and have always loved it. I got a Cello which I had not had in many years as a wonderful surprise for Christmas last year from my dear Scott and parents. I'm so happy we will always have music in our home.

Grateful for health and strength and excersize.

Grateful for education. I'm grateful Scott is getting a wonderful education that will support us for the rest of our lives. I'm grateful for the education I have gotten thus far and look forward to continual learning.

Grateful for our home. Our home now is a cozy apartment but it is what we call home and we love it.

Grateful for work. I have such a great job and we are blessed to have work and benefits at this time in our lives.

We feel so blessed and this is a wonderful time of life! May be always be happy and gratefull for all we have. Happy Thanksgiving!
Grateful for America. I know this country is blessed and was founded by the direction of God and inspired men. I'm grateful for the rights and freedoms we have here. May we never forget them.
