The past few weeks...

Well today we are excited because Scott started Fall break!!! Horray! He has the whole week off and I'm so happy he gets a nice break from his hard hard work and all day study sessions. The past couple weeks have been very fun and very busy. The past 2 weeks I was covering for the office manager at the clinic while she was in Cancun. I am the assistant manager so I have learned a lot of what she does and put it to the test again the past 2 weeks. It was very busy with payroll and trying to do 2 jobs in one day but It all worked out and went well.

We of course have been playing a lot too. Last weekend we were able to go to the BYU football game against Utah State and it was a blast to be down there. We love going to those games. Scott;s parents gave us there tickets that are almost right on the 50 yard line so it was a great view and was a fun way to spend our date night. The rest of the weekend we enjoyed a wonderful conference and truly enjoyed the powerful messages from our dear prophets and leaders of the church. For many years my Mom and my sisters all get together when the men are at the Priesthood session and have a girls night. Its so fun to be all together, talk ,eat treats and let the kids go crazy all over Grandma's house. As always, it was a blast. Sunday morning Scott and I make 2 breakfasts. We both had traditions growing up for Sunday morning conference breakfast so we have combined them both into a feast. We made homemade Belgian waffles, whipped cream, strawberries (the Barsons) and sausage, egg, and cheese on English muffins and orange juice (Hanks). We just love conference morning =)

This past weekend we went on our date to dinner and to the dollar movies to see Ice Age 3. It was just so fun to be out together and it was a funny movie. I love our date nights! Saturday we ran some errands and working on some projects like washing the car, fixing up Scott's bike and playing in the garage. That is truly one of Scott's favorite places to be and he loves projects. I'm so grateful to have a husband who knows how to do everything! As always it was a great weekend. We were able to go see my parents speak in their ward on Sunday, see Scott's Uncle Jack and Aunt Marion give their Mission homecoming talk, and teach our Sunday school lesson, and make it back to my parents for dinner. Busy busy day. But we enjoyed the evening by popping popcorn and watching a movie. Ohhhhh the good days!!!

All in all, things are going well. Scott is doing so great in School and studies so hard everyday. We will be so excited when he is done but this is a fun time of life (except for the homework part). I'm so proud of him and he will be an amazing engineer. Work is going well and I like my job and the people I work with. I still do hair a few times a week and trying to make time to practice my beautiful cello. Since its Scott's fall break I am also taking a few days off to spend with Scott and CANT WAIT!!! We will go do some fun things like bike rides and maybe you Wheeling so it will be a great mini vacation!
