Dollar Movies

Scott and I love the dollar movies because its a fun cheap date. We tend to go there often and we are so excited when the movies we want to see get there. They seem new to us when they get there and we really don't mind waiting. We can see 4 movies there for the price of 1 movie at a regular theatre. Its Fantastic!! We hit up the dollar movie this weekend to see GI Joe. We must confess...it was LAME!!! Honestly, I slept through the entire second half and Scott was considering leaving because it was sooo cheesy, but the experience is always fun.

Some of the silly things I want to remember someday when we tell our kids about the "Dollar Movies"(now the $2 movies) are as follows: Be careful what you lay on the floor...it may stick there. Your chair might just fall over when you sit down. Sit with caution. A spring might just pop right out of the chair and poke your bum. The treats actually cost more than the movie. The guy in front of you may listen to his I pod during the movie and read a book. (totally happened). You might laugh out loud when someone ELSE falls off their chair because it collapses. There may be a few technical difficulties getting the movie started...but don't worry, they will give you a free ticket to come back(also happened this weekend. ) All of these things are so funny and partially true, but its all part of the experience. We will definitely continue to go and enjoy this fun time in our lives. Oh thank heaven for the Dollar Movies!
