Landon is ONE

Our darling Landon is already one. We love having him in our family and he is a joy and a blessing to us. At one year Landon weighs 26.1 lbs and is 30.5 inches long. He is is in the 89th percentile for weight and 74th for height. Some of the many things we love about him are... he walks all over holding on to things and took a few steps July 2nd, loves the wind in his face and he laughs at it, gets "cozy wozy" with blankets and pillows and loves to snuggle, crawls all over us and does love pats on our faces with his cute little hands, loves to okay on "jungle jim Dad" and pat his tummy like a drum, shakes his head and mixer and vacuum, loves to follow me around when im vacuuming, gives the sweetest happy look when we put him in the tub, waves his darling wave to people and usually after they look away, loves when daddy feeds him every night and he will cuddle up and fall asleep in his arms, likes to brush his own hair, likes to cuddle up when we read books, tucks his arms in to get comfy, wraps his arms around us to give worlds best hugs, starts talking in his little language every time I go to get him from his crib and jumps with excitement, usually hangs out in his crib for who knows how long every morning until he gets so excited and drums on the crib until we come, eats anything he can find including rocks and wood chips and things off the floor, calms down when i sing the "our Landon" song, started drinking cows milk on July 5th and loves it, sleeps with his bum in the hair and does the bum bunny hope when he is trying to fall asleep, has figured out how to crawl out of his high chair and shopping carts, likes to make dinosaur sounds with daddy, sticks his toes up for Scott to eat when he feeds him, still holds my hand while drinking his bottle, takes our sunglasses off then tries to put them back on, says mama, dadadada, ball, mmmmm (yumm) and figuring out new sounds that resemble words all the time, can climb up the slide all by himself, rubs his head along the carpet like a puppy and it is hilarious, loves to see his reflection and talks to himself and giggles, took official steps on July 15th and now will often let go and try a few on his own, makes silly noises when we wash his face, crawls up on EVERYTHING he can so he can get to something higher, can feed himself a bottle but im not ready for that yet so i still feed him as much as possible, shares his food with us by trying to give us a bite,whenever we hold hi he turns himself around so he can sit forward and all in all he is just the BEST! We love Landon so much and it has been such a wonderful first year!
