Concerts and Traffic

Kathie and her girls were in town for a choir camp at BYU for the week and it was so fun to have them here and see them as much as we did. Friday evening Lauren and Katelyn were singing at a concert in Provo and Scott and I planned to go see them. An extra bonus was he could get extra credit for going if he writes a paper about it for his music class. That was just a bonus-not the only reason we wanted to go! We have so many nieces and nephews we like to go to their events whenever we can and since they were here from out of state we thought it would be fun to actually be able to go to one of their concerts. Scott and I are habitually late (a shocker I know) but this time it wasn't entirely our fault. This super fun thing called construction all through Utah county slowed our drive and we missed all of the songs they sang. Scott listened to some of the the songs that other groups were still singing just to have something to write about. We were sad to not hear Lauren and Katelyn's cute voices but my we went for ice cream instead. Unfortunately we got stuck in traffic on the way home again for over and hour and we just love traffic-especially at 10:30 at night!!! Despite that-it was so fun to be them!
