Crazy Week

This week Scott and I took turns being sick. Scott started not feeling well a few days before last weekend and by Sunday was not doing well. He had a very sore throat and by Sunday afternoon was laying in bed with several large blankets on him and was still freezing. The poor guy was very very sick. We stayed home the rest of the night to try to get him feeling better. I tried to take the best care of him I could. He deserves it. He missed school on Monday but needed to go back Tuesday for some fun tests. He started feeling a little better mid week but still has a cough. Tis the season to be sick. I was doing well until Thursday morning when I realized a really did not feel well. Needless to say I pretty much couldn't eat anything and stayed home from work feeling less than wonderful. I feel much better now. Life is good!

This weekend has been really nice to have some time together. Weekends are our favorite time together to get things done and to play a little too. This weekend we saw Twilight the movie. YEA!! I totally loved it and could have watched it all over again immediately following the movie! Silly...yes! Awesome...definitely yes. Today we hung Christmas lights for his parents and watched a little bit of the BYU vs. Utah football game. The end result was fairly disappointing but it was fun to watch. We get to teach our fun but rowdy Sunday school class again tomorrow. It is a wonderful experience that comes with challenges as well. For example...trying to get Zach to stop talking and/or throw things across the room. Always an adventure. It also comes with blessings and I believe that sometimes the teacher learns more from the lessons being taught than the students. We are grateful for the opportunity to teach and learn ourselves.

We await the new adventures that will face us this week!

Glad your both feeling better. Can't wait to see you guys in a couple of days. Our kids are still hoping for snow so we can all go sledding, but it's not looking to good! Good luck with your class too!
